You must be a member to participate in the Scheme. If you wish to become a member, please contact us. You cannot become a member via the site. Membership is subject to the Scheme Rules, a copy of which will be provided to you at registration and upon request (and which are also available on the website). Upon becoming a member, we will register you on the Scheme’s system and give you a secure account and password. This can be used to log in to your member account on the site by clicking on the “Member Log In” link.
You must not share the details of your account or password with anyone. You are responsible for all use of such details and all use of your account. You must tell us immediately of any unauthorised use that comes to your attention. We may suspend or terminate your account if it appears to us that you are, or your account has been used, in breach of these terms (including by providing false registration details or other misuse of the site).
You must not attempt to interfere with the proper working of the site.
All rights (including copyright) in the content of the site, retirement statements issued by us, and all systems used to support the Scheme, are owned, licensed to, or controlled by us and, unless we agree otherwise in writing, will remain our property. Your use of the site does not imply any licence to use the content in any way, or that a transfer of ownership has taken place. If any new rights are created through the use of the site, we will own them too. We may ask you to sign a document confirming this.

We will do our best to protect your information, but we cannot guarantee the security of transmissions to the site; and any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use security procedures to try to prevent unauthorised access.
These terms only concern our site at www.greengas.org.uk. We are not responsible for the practices of other websites that may be linked to from our site. In operating the Scheme, we rely upon the information provided to us. We cannot be sure that such information is correct, so we cannot (and do not) represent, warrant, or guarantee that the information accessible via the site or contained in any RGGO or Retirement Statement is wholly accurate, complete or up-to-date. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, misstatements, or mistakes in the information contained on this site or a RGGO or Retirement Statement, or any damages resulting from the use of such information, or any decision made (or action taken) in reliance on such information.
Other than in the case of death or personal injury due to our negligence, or where we have acted fraudulently, we will not be responsible to you for any losses which you may suffer relating to the site or other information that we provide to you in connection with the Scheme.
We do not warrant that the site will remain available at all times, nor that the functions used or materials accessible or downloaded from the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors, viruses, or other harmful components. You are responsible for taking appropriate steps to prevent any loss relating to such occurrences. Sometimes, we will have to withdraw, suspend, or modify the site or parts of the site, and there may be times when the site or certain parts of the site will be unavailable on an unscheduled basis. English law applies to these terms. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and/or the use of the site will only be dealt with by the English courts, unless you are resident in another part of the United Kingdom, in which case the applicable law of that part of the United Kingdom will apply and any dispute will be brought before the courts there.
Anyone wishing to submit a complaint regarding the activities of the GGCS should contact the REAL CEO and will be provided with full details of the complaints procedure.
Any failure, or delay by us in exercising any right or remedy under these terms shall not prevent us from being able to enforce that, or any other, right or remedy at a later time.
If anything in these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by any court or other competent authority, all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.
We may transfer any of our rights and/or transfer, sub-contract or delegate any of our responsibilities under these terms. Where we do so, we will take steps to ensure that it does not affect your ability to rely on your rights.
These terms are personal to you and are entered into by you for your own benefit and not for the benefit of any third party. You may only transfer or assign your rights under these terms with our prior consent (which we will not unreasonably refuse).
We may change these terms from time to time. When we do so, we will provide access to the new terms at www.greengas.org.uk/scheme/disclaimer. The new terms will take effect immediately and govern all use of the site. If you do not agree with a new version of the terms, you must cease to use the site.
