Audits

Gas Producers must provide a third-party audit of their meter readings and GHG calculations on an annual basis. This ensures the highest levels of accuracy and credibility of the RGGOs being issued.

The GGCS performs a quarterly internal audit and presents the results to a compliance committee which has an independent chairperson.

The GGCS performs an annual external audit using the ISAE3000 standard for non-financial reporting. The results of the report are presented to the Compliance Committee, our Oversight Panel, and shared with relevant stakeholders such as government officials.
